Worship Services & Sacraments
Rooted in Anglican liturgical tradition, our services offer a transcendent encounter with God and community.
What to Expect at Our Services
We want you to feel at ease from the moment you arrive. Here is a guide to what a typical Sunday service looks like at All Saints Anglican Church.
A Welcoming Atmosphere
You will be greeted warmly at the door. There is no dress code and no expectation to know any responses by heart. Our service bulletins guide you through the liturgy, and our congregation is always happy to help newcomers feel at home.
Scripture & Sermon
Our services include readings from the Old Testament, the Psalms, the Epistles, and the Gospel. These are followed by a sermon — a thoughtful reflection on the week's scripture passages, connecting ancient wisdom with contemporary life in rural Saskatchewan.
Music & Hymns
Worship at All Saints is enriched by wonderful hymns drawn from both traditional Anglican hymnody and contemporary worship music. We have been blessed with gifted musicians who lead our congregation in joyful, spirit-filled praise throughout the year.
Holy Communion
The Holy Eucharist (Holy Communion) is the heart of our Sunday worship. All baptized Christians are invited to receive. If you have not been baptized or prefer not to receive, you are warmly invited to come forward and receive a blessing instead.
Service Length
A typical Sunday Eucharist service lasts approximately 60 to 75 minutes, followed by fellowship time with coffee, tea, and light refreshments in the parish hall. You are warmly encouraged to stay and connect with members of the congregation.
Liturgical Books
Our services are drawn from the Book of Alternative Services and the historic Book of Common Prayer. Copies are provided in the pew. The liturgy gives our worship a beautiful rhythm and connects us to centuries of Anglican tradition worldwide.
Seasonal Worship & Celebrations
The Anglican liturgical calendar marks the rhythm of the Christian year with distinctive seasons of worship, reflection, and celebration.
